“ This is one of my favorite places to eat in Memphis. The service is always great, the food is delicious (the salads and snack plates!!), and I love the atmosphere. My favorite part is the patio with all of the herbs growing around you. Every time we go, there is a young server who has the most bubbly personality waiting on us. She has dark hair and glasses and she’s always so friendly. I also love chatting with the bartenders. I quit drinking alcohol about a year ago and they always make me a fun mocktail. Don’t pass this place up. You’ll be missing out. ”

Buffalo broccoli is amazing as well as when they have some seasonal margaritas. In fact - it was the first place I asked to go for a drink after having my son! Ive had most of the menu and have never had anything that was less than 5/5! Service is friendly and always good, atmosphere (especially the patio) is great and is a locally owned business - highly recommend! ”

Honestly, we came for the holiday vibes, but wow, we stayed for the food. And let me tell you, their okonomiyaki was hands down one of the best surprises I’ve ever had. Picture this: a savory cabbage pancake topped with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg, crispy pork belly (fried to perfection), pistachios, and this tangy, house-made soy aioli that pulls it all together. The flavors? Unreal. The pork belly brings that rich, salty goodness, the soy aioli adds the perfect kick of acidity, and there’s this sneaky hint of sweetness that ties it all together. It’s balanced, bold, and completely out of this world. Here’s the kicker—I’d never tried okonomiyaki before. “ Magnolia & May is true farm to table goodness...from the look and feel of the cozy house-turned-restaurant all the way to the last bite of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth-yet-still-crispy hash brown. The deviled egg was unlike others I’ve tried, with something slightly sweet added to the filling that I couldn’t quite place but enhanced the basic deviled egg flavor by tenfold. The smoked salmon was so fresh and chopped into thick chunks instead of thin slices, which elevated the quality of the flavor. It wasn’t overly smokey or fishy at all like a lot of smoked salmon I’ve tried. Then the main courses - shrimp and grits OH MY GOODNESS. I couldn’t stop eating it, with all of the juices and Cajun cheesy broth that made the dish. My husband got the fried chicken and French toast with pecan butter and the chicken was cooked so perfectly with just the right amount of juiciness and breading. Between the two of us, there was not a morsel leftover on any of our plates. Top it all off with a garden Bloody Mary, and the rest of your day is sure to be as fantastic as your brunch. ”
